Three continents, eight countries, and around universities participated in this event. It was a magnificent experience because of an opportunity to listen to scientific research, new projects, and even personal, heartbreaking stories.

Was it informal? –  Yes!

Was it one of the most desired events for our students? – Absolutely!

During this meeting, we’ve discussed:

– Why is our job so important;

– What Is the future of social work;

– Mental health;

– Challenges that you face when you need to take care of your family and get a degree at the same time;

– How people abroad can help our country.

However, our meeting wasn’t only about the Social Work job! It was and still is an opportunity to create a superb professional community, find support or like-minded people, and meet warm hearts and sparkling eyes.

As Marta – our wonderful moderator, mentioned, “Well, to be honest, I wasn’t sure the meeting would be successful for 100%. It was my first experience participating in such a meetup, and I was both scared and excited. However, I was literally amazed by people expressing their thoughts and sharing experience as well as their areas of interest.

Thanks to all of them taking part in that meetup, I understood the important role of each of us. I will definitely try to present my future research next year, so I’m looking forward to seeing those social workers again and getting to know them better.”

This event has become a motivation to explore, work and follow the right path.

In case you missed this year’s meeting, we still have good news for you. We are going to have another one in a few months. That’s why you have time to prepare yourself and get some experience in order to share with us this Autumn)

Furthermore, we owe the Armed Forces of Ukraine a debt of gratitude for giving us a chance to host this meeting in a peaceful atmosphere.
